Members' Pictures taken during the Covid-19 pandemic 2020

The LEICA Fellowship member Melinda Stone has suggested that during this Covid-19 time period when our picture-taking opportunities are limited by various constraints to limit the spread of the virus, some stimulus for photography may be helpful.

She had in mind a non-competitive display of pictures on the website. The images would be shown on the "open to the public" pages.

To see if there is support for such an idea in the readership of this Newsletter, each member is invited to provide up to three digital images.

The specification for each image is: [1] longest side 500 pixels; [2] saved as a .jpg file with a quality settng of 9 or medium; and [3] and sRGB colour space.

The entries should be numbered 1 to 3 in the member's preference order in case, should there be an abundance of entrants, then the quantity per entrant may have to be restricted.

A caption for each picture, giving as much information, such as content, equipment used, problems experienced, and other advice as would be helpful to viewers.

Taken during our last weekend from Lincoln Castle Walls of the city and the cathedral on a Leica MP 240 on the 50mm setting of the 28-35-50 Elmar. Just waiting for the right light took a minute
